Gobble Gobble Turkey

There are a couple different ways you could use this activity for your Primary Singing Time.

First, you could sing the songs you're working on and the children who are singing nicely and their best, get a piece of food (cotton ball or pom pom) to feed into the turkey's belly.  (walk around and "watch" as they are singing and pass them out).

Second, After the children have sung a song, pick 2-3 children who were singing their best and have them come say something they're thankful for and add a piece of food to his belly.

Make sure to make Gobble noises as he eats!!!!  Gobble Gobble!!!!!

(turkey's belly is made from a recycled soda litter with the top of the bottle cut off)

**For Come Follow Me 2019 - You could incorporate KINDNESS by:  After you hand the child a pompom for singing great, have them say something nice about someone in the Primary room, something nice they've done that day, or a way someone showed kindness to THEM that day or the past week.  Then they can add their food to the Gobble Gobble Turkey.

This is great to help them recognize what kindness is and that it feels good when you are kind and when kindness is shown to you!
